Jess Bertan is a fourth-year journalism student at Toronto Metropolitan University, specializing in music media reporting. Her well-rounded portfolio of work spans broadcast, print, and digital publication. Having pitched, produced & coordinated on-camera interview segments, and held the position of Editor-In-Chief for an independent music publication, Jess has dedicated the majority of her media coverage towards an overlap of music and ethical journalism- combining innovative new ideas with a solid foundation of traditional media techniques.

 

With a commitment to professional communications, passionate storytelling, and accumulated experience in editorial media relations within the local music industry, Jess brings a unique perspective and skillset to the ever-evolving landscape of music journalism.
